To book a table, all we need is the day, the time and how many of you there are. You're also welcome to walk in without a booking. If there are six or more of you, it's worth calling ahead: we can seat up to thirty people together. We have high chairs, and if you're bringing children we'll help you pick from the dishes they usually enjoy.

You can walk in without a booking, but booking guarantees you a table at busy times. For groups of 6 or more, please call ahead.
Yes, Shang-Hai takes groups of up to 30 people. For 6 or more, give us a call in advance and we'll set up the table and the menu to suit your group.
Yes, the same number works for booking a table and for ordering takeaway. Tell us which dishes you'd like and we'll let you know when to collect them from the restaurant.
